FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PLASTRON® INTRODUCES NEW LINE OF PRODUCTS

New home décor and home improvement product lines feature recycled materials for indoor and exterior home design.

Hampton, VA – March 11, 2011 Plastron® Products has introduced two new lines of home décor and home improvement products made from 100% reclaimed natural resources. These unique, European-styled moldings with intricate shapes are available in a variety of colors for interior or exterior use.

Plastron® created the new decorative pieces to fill a void for consumers seeking green environmentally friendly products in a time when natural resources are being depleted, landfills overwhelmed and durable quality products at an affordable price are hard to find.

“This collection is unique from other corporate interior designs, because we’ve made it from recycled rubber and construction wood waste,” said Brigitte Pohl, vice president of Plastron® Products, a division of Sorbilite, Inc. “

The impact-resistant composite products come in various sizes finished with UV-resistant coatings, making them suitable for outdoor use as well. They are paintable, but also come in four different colors, some with metallic effects, like gold and copper. Made with a patented press technology, their designs protrude from the background surface, giving them a three-dimensional effect. Motifs range from wall hangings to moldings, rosettes and door panels.

“It’s a diverse selection of patterns. We have zodiac signs, welcome pineapples, antique cars,” Pohl explained. “People don’t just use them for their homes, they also put them on boats and RVs.”

The collection of environmentally friendly home products can be used to decorate and personalize a home’s entrances, garage doors, kitchen cabinetry, staircases and outdoor patios.

They are not meant to be panel replacements, but to enhance the look of a surface. The elements take only minutes to install and can be done by a novice. They are protected by a moisture barrier preventing warping and swelling.

Joint Venture Partners

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sorbilite Seeking Joint Venture Partners for New “Green” Products
Sorbilite has new manufacturing projects made from recycled materials secured and is looking for Joint Venture Partners.

Hampton, VA – March 11, 2011 –Sorbilite, Inc., a manufacturer of environmentally friendly products and equipment, announced today it is seeking joint-venture partners interested in a unique business opportunity for a new patented manufacturing system and its products.

For more than 40 years, Sorbilite, Inc. has been involved in the field of composite processing. Three new products have already been selected, developed, patented, proto-typed and test marketed. Full-scale production planning and raw material resourcing has also already been implemented.

“Our focus in partnership is to find companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint on the earth by giving new purpose to reclaimed materials, like wood and agricultural fibers, crumb rubber and plastic,” said Andrew Pohl, president of Sorbilite. “Together we can produce high quality products that fill the daily needs of consumers.”

One new project being launched is the manufacture of an exterior door which can be fireproof, bulletproof and light stable. Its surface is carved for decoration through the molding process to create a variety of styles. Costs compared to the current manufacture of a similar product will be considerably less.

“We want our partners to focus on one product market at a time,” Pohl explained. “This is the smartest and fastest way to recoup the 3 million dollar investment in the shortest amount of time. Once that market is established, they can branch into other avenues.”

Another new project Sorbilite is seeking joint partnership for is the manufacture of high-quality functional, decorative caskets in a single step using the same molding process as the doors. The pet and human caskets, made from recycled materials, are biodegradable, an environmentally friendly alternative to currently available products on the market.

Sorbilite has opened its own manufacturing facility producing “green” home decor and home improvement products. The process combines many conventional manufacturing steps into one streamlined molding process reducing production time as well as high cost labor. Combined with the low cost of the raw material, this technology provides an extremely fast return on investment.

Details can be found at www.plastronproducts.com. Sorbilite markets these products under the Plastron® name.
